Theresa Coats was born in Ft. Leonardwood, MO and is a graduate of Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida with an Associate of Science degree in Business Management. She completed her Medical Coding Curriculum in 2002 from the Kansas City Coding Institute and received her Certification as a Profesional Coder in February 2003. She has specialized in Medical Billing/Business Practices for many years and is well versed in the area of healthcare office administration. She was previously employed with Saxon Medical prior to Northland ENT's acquisition and has now managed this office since 2001. She is Northland ENT's HIPAA compliance officer. Theresa is also a Notary Public, a member of the Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association, Northland Medical Managers, a member of the Greater KC Metropolitan ENT Managers discussion group and a member of both the local and national Chapters of the American Academy of Professional Coders.
